Fundraising auction at Museum

Corbetton Church on the grounds of the Dufferin County Museum and Archives (DCMA) will have a great selection of unique treasures for its annual fundraising auction.

The sale includes furniture, refinished and as found, including several primitives, wood burning stove, textiles and lace, original art, tole, depression glass, china, pressed glass, lamps, crystal, kitchenware, picture frames, books, bottles, crocks, tools, farm items, paper ephemera, decorator’s items, vintage costume jewellery, and many more miscellaneous and collectible items yet to be unpacked and sorted.

This auction always yields interesting and unusual items that have been generously donated by DCMA members and supporters.

Proceeds will go to the DCMA 2010 acquisitions fund. The auctioneer: will be Bob Severn, Rosemont (519) 925-2091. Terms: cash, credit card, debit or cheque. Bidders must register onsite.

The auction takes place on Sunday, August 22, at 10 a.m. with a preview at 9. Bidders must register onsite.
