ORANGEVILLE’S JUNIOR A NORTHMEN

ORANGEVILLE’S JUNIOR A NORTHMEN have the community behind them in their quest for the Minto Cup. The Ontario champions will head to B.C. later this week to prepare for the national competition. To assist with their efforts and expenses, Scotiabank had volunteers assist with a fundraising barbecue and car wash and presented the team with $3,000, and the Town of Orangeville presented $600 to the team under the sports and cultural funding program for national or provincial competitions. At the presentations are team captain Glen Bryan, Deputy Mayor Warren Maycock, and goalie Dillon Ward, along with Scotiabank representatives Brenna Casserly and Kelly Keeble.
