Help for loss of reindeer

By now most of you have heard about the tragic event that happened at Fuzzy Foot Farm Sunday July 18th. My friend is heartbroken at this loss. Some of you met little Kootenay at our Gathering of the Claus held here in 2009 and his other reindeer at various functions in Orangeville over the years. Kootenay died in my arms.

We are setting up a fund to raise enough money to buy at least one Reindeer. Having contacted several Reindeer Breeders and Owners at least

2500- 3500 needs to be raised plus the cost of transporting them to us.

If any of you wish to contribute to this Fundraiser please do so by dropping an envelope with your contribution into our mail box here and marking it SANTAS READY. Santa’s Ready is set up at TD Canada Trust at the Mall. Branch 166-5217404. Paypal may also be used to make donations. My accountant Kim Jaspers-Fayer is overseeing this fund and any disbursement made.

It is almost too late to train a new reindeer for this season but we are determined to try. His deer were known across Canada. This was Tony Porter’s livelihood.
