DUFFERIN CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES staged its annual fund-raiser at Staples Business Depot over the weekend. The event is aimed at raising funds to provide needy kids with school supplies for the upcoming year. On hand were, front left to right: Jennifer Moore and Jacqueline Moore of DCFS flanking Chris Andrade of Staples. In back, left to right: Elyse Johanes of Johanes’s Karate School – which put on a martial arts exhibition – and John Johanes (left) joined Metro supermarket manager John Sinclair, who was busy at the grill making hot dogs supplied by the store.
