Family Fun Day is this Saturday, July 9th from 12 Noon until 6 pm. There will be barbequed hamburgers, hot dogs & sausages, lots of activities for the kids including Karaoke provided by DJ Shawn Lundy. Everyone welcome. Later at 8 pm come out for our Founders Day Dance in our Legion parking lot. No charge, open bar until midnight & Karaoke with DJ Shawn Lundy.

Wednesday night Euchre at 7:30 pm. $10 to play and all monies go back into cash prizes and a cash prize for the most Lone Hands. Our next Sunday Euchre is July 10th at 1 pm.

Our Annual Veterans’ Appreciation Day is Sunday, August 14th. World War 2, Korean and Afghanistan Veterans must be signed in to receive a complimentary meal and gift. A sign-up sheet is posted at the bar.

We will be taking a bus to the CNE for Warriors’ Day on August 20th . Veterans can go free of charge and for others the charge is $15. to be paid on sign-up at the bar. BY JOHN CUNNINGHAM Branch 220, Shelburne

Join us for a fun day at our 18 hole Best Ball Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, July 17 at Dunadel Golf Course in Dundalk. Tee Off 9 a.m. followed by a BBQ steak dinner at the Branch. Come to the branch to sign up. Cut off date July 10.

Our next Wing Nite will be July 15. Entertainment by Kristin and Aaron.

Monday afternoon euchre is still going strong.

Monthly Progressive Euchre is Sunday, July 10. Registration 12 noon- 12:45. Play starts 1 p.m. All monies paid out.

Monday Nite Bingo attendance is improving each week so come out early to get a good seat. Doors open 6:15, Early Bird 7 p.m. $700 Jackpot paid out each week.

Veterans meet Wednesday morning and is open to all veterans in the area.
