THE BONNIE WINCHESTER ARMS was the scene of one of several Robbie Burns Day celebrations taking place in Orangeville this week. Dancers from the Vanessa Collie School of Highland Dance entertained. Amanda Cramer of the Lorne Scots piped in the haggis, borne by server Caralee Ellis. In his address to the haggis, Jimmy Duncan summed it up: “Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware/That jaups in luggies;/But, if ye wish her gratefu' prayer,/Gie her a haggis!”
