The Hockley Valley community was saddened to learn of the death Monday evening of Donald (Don) Jason Blenkarn, who passed away at his home in Florida at age 81.

Mr. Blenkarn was a Conservative MP from 1972 to 1974 and 1979 to 1993, representing Mississauga South. He and his family have owned property and homes in Hockley Valley for many years.
