Home and Garden show is a sell-out
The 15th annual Orangeville Lions Club Home & Garden Show takes place this weekend, with plenty for the folks to see. The show is sold out, with 155 exhibitors taking up all 250 booths.
As well, 30 non-profit organizations will be represented at the event.
“We have more (exhibitors) than last year,” said Lions Club past president Bill Hux, who helped organize the show. “We’ve arranged it so we have a dozen more booths that last year.”
One thing that will certainly be a draw is that there is no admission charge to the show and parking is free, as well.
Mr. Hux noted there are a number of new exhibitors this year. “It’s always nice to have new ones. It adds the variety.”
He also said he was confident the Home & Garden Show would draw exhibitors, even in these lean economic times. “When people are in tougher times, maybe they need to display their wares more often.”
