The Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League continues to expand across Ontario.
The League has announced three new teams that will be ready for the 2013 / 2014 season.
The Alliston Coyotes will be playing at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre in Alliston making it the third GMHL team in the region along with the Orangeville Americans and the Shelburne Redwings.
In the north, Seguin Township will be home to a new, as yet unnamed team, which will play at Humphrey Arena.
A ‘Name your junior hockey club’ contest will be held locally to come up with an appropriate name for the new squad.
The third team to be announced for the new season is the Toronto Predators.
The Predators will play at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.
The Gardens was recently redesigned to accommodate an arena and seating for close to 3000, and acts as a training centre and host venue for Ryerson University.
